Inquirers Class Continues January 2nd

If you are interested in being confirmed or received into the Episcopal Church or in a refresher course on the basics of the Christian Faith and what it means to be an Episcopalian, come this Tuesday from 3:00 to 4:15 p.m.

Spring Hill Christmas Parade

The Spring Hill Christmas Parade has been rescheduled for Saturday, December 16 at 5 p.m. after the severe weather last Saturday (December 9).

We will keep alive one of our church traditions and have hot beverages and cookies to decorate for the parade onlookers, as well as crafts for the kids. We will also be decorating our church. We welcome our neighbors to join us for this event.

For church members, please plan to be at Grace no later than 3:30 p.m. because the police will close the roads around 4 p.m.

Advent Service of Lessons and Carols, etc.

We will be having an Advent Service of Lessons and Carols on Sunday, December 10 at 10 a.m.

Two of our regular weekday events will be canceled next week:

  1. Our regular noon Eucharist service will not be held on Wednesday, December 6; this will return on December 13.
  2. Our Inquirer’s Class will also be canceled on Tuesday, December 5; it will return on Tuesday, December 12.

Christmas Services

We will hold two services on Christmas Eve (Sunday, December 24):

  1. Our 10 a.m. service will follow the readings appointed for the Fourth Sunday in Advent.
  2. We will hold a Christmas Vigil service on the evening of December 24. Carols will be sung at 5:30 p.m., with the Christmas service starting at 6 p.m.

There will be no services held on Christmas Day (Monday, December 25).

Annual Meeting and Mission Council Elections

Our Annual Meeting will be on Sunday, January 14, immediately following the 10:00 a.m. service. At this meeting, we will hear from representatives of the ministries of our church and elect two new members of the mission council. We off our thanks to Robert Chapman and Will Pomeroy for their years of service on the mission council as their terms of service conclude this January.
